Air Deccan or Air Decan(often misspelt by many) was previously known as the India's first low-cost airfare airline and was the fastest growing airline of that time making air travel affordable for the common man. Air Deccan was formed in 2003 with the vision to empower every Indian to fly, by providing the lowest airfares and connectivity to unconnected towns and cities. This airline has been recently taken over by Dr. Vijay Mallya's UB Group and sports a new predominantly Red logo with a Kingfisher in flight. Simplifly Deccan has 41 aircrafts and the country's largest network; connecting 65 cities. | Air Deccan has got 41 aircarfts in its fleet consisting of 48 seater ATR-42s along with a 180 seater Airbus A-320. The airline has recently acquired an ATR 72 - 500 aircraft. This is a 72 seater aircraft with superior engine power and improved interiors for a very comfortable flying experience. |
